Halfmoon Sea Kayaks is accepting early applications for full and part time summer positions for our 26th season! May – September 2024.
Offering guided day tours, multi-day trips, lessons and rentals. We are currently looking for Paddle Canada instructors, certified day guides, and a rental fleet manager. Specific responsibilities will vary depending on your main role, your strengths, what brings you joy and additional support the team may need.
All positions require strong organizational skills, athletic abilities and a desire to lead and teach in a positive and inclusive environment. Other skills/qualifications to bring may include;
- Paddle Canada / SKGABC or equivalent certification
- RFA, WFA, WFR certifications
- Local knowledge and/or interest of the natural marine world
- Photography skills and understanding of social media platforms
- All crew are encouraged to use all of the paddling equipment free of charge.
- Paddle Canada certification will be available to interested team members.
- Prodeal access to various popular outdoor brands.
- All crew are instantly granted 6 months of vacation between every season!;)
- Starting wages range from $18.00/hr – $25.00/hr + gratuities
